Wood River Fire & Rescue is happy to announce that Trent Tomlinson will be preforming at our annual dance. The dance is at Babel’s barn in Wood River, NE, February 14th starting at 8:00 p.m.  Tickets are sold on a first come first serve with the WR fire district people having first chance. The tickets are limited, once the limit is reached ALL ticket sales will stop. WE HAVE REACHED OUR LIMIT!  Tickets are a non refundable donation to the WRFD. Trent Tomlinson is an American country music artist. After several failed attempts at finding a record deal, Tomlinson was signed to Lyric Street Records in 2005, with his debut album Country Is My Rock, released in early 2006. This album produced three Top 40 singles on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Songs charts: “Drunker Than Me” at No. 19, “One Wing in the Fire” at No. 11, and “Just Might Have Her Radio On” at No. 21. Three further singles were released in 2009.

 We are very saddened to hear the news of the passing of Trent’s dad on Feb. 4th. Our thoughts and prayers are with him and his family. Trent has let us know that he is still be coming to perform for us on Valentines Day at Babel’s Barn.  See you there!
