Location/Format: Virtual via WebEx (link will be sent out prior to the conference, including link for handouts and presentation slides)
The Goal: This collaborative stroke education program will focus on regional stroke systems of care in Central Nebraska with CHI Health Good Samaritan highlighting the transition of care from stroke recognition, evaluation, and transfer to a primary stroke center. Participants will gain an understanding of each other’s complex role in caring for an acute stroke patient.
Objectives:
• Enhance stroke providers understanding of critical triage and transfer criteria in a stroke system of care.
• Discuss the guideline-based goals in acute stroke care
• Identify questions related to the transfer and admission of acute stroke patients
Target Audience: Critical Access Hospitals that transfer to CHI Health Good Samaritan, EMS, Nurses, Physicians and Advanced Nurse Practitioners

Joint Accreditation Statements
In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by the American Heart Association. ANCC Credit Designation Statement – Nurses
The maximum number of hours awarded for this CE activity is 3.0 contact hours. **ANCC Credit must be claimed within 6 months of attendance. CME/CE will no longer be available to claim after January 28, 2021.
Continuing Education Accreditation – Emergency Medical Services
This continuing education activity is approved by the American Heart Association, an organization accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Pre-Hospital Continuing Education (CAPCE), for 3.0 Advanced CEHs, activity number 20-AMHA-F1-0066.
